Scouting For Food
SAVE THE DATE - October 26, 2024
Each fall, our local Scouts host an annual food collection for area food banks. On the day of the food drive, simply leave a bag of non-perishable, non-expired food on your front porch, and the Scouts will pick it up and transport it to the Food Bank! Since they’re early risers, please ensure your donations are out early in the morning.
If the Scouts aren’t able to pick up from your location or happen to miss your house, you can conveniently drop off your items at our 24-hour drop-off room located at 169 Gerald Street, State College. Please note that the State College Food Bank is unable to collect donations that the Scouts cannot pick up. Thank you for your support!
In 2023, the Boy Scouts collected more than 30,000 pounds of food for our pantry!
