What Is Centre Gives?
The Centre Foundation, Centre County's wonderful community foundation, will host Centre Gives, a 36-hour online giving event designed to recognize and support the positive work of local nonprofits in Centre County, including the State College Food Bank! Since the program’s inception in 2012, the community and Centre Foundation have invested a combined total of over $16.9 million back into our community.
When Is It?
Centre Foundation's 36-hour online giving event is set to begin on May 8, 2024 at 8 am and conclude on May 9, 2024 at 8 pm. Every gift made at CentreGives.org will go directly to the over 150+ local, non-profit organizations serving Centre County, including the STATE COLLEGE FOOD BANK, and will be amplified by the Centre Foundation's $300,000 stretch pool. Gifts made during this community giving event will also help the Food Bank to qualify for additional cash prizes.
