Turkey Donations The State College Food Bank will accept donations of frozen and fresh turkeys that are not expired.
Turkey Vouches It's the time of year that you can start earning grocery store points for Free Turkeys!! Please keep us in mind if you won't be using yours. There are two ways for you to donate:
Unfortunately, we are unable to redeem the vouchers ourselves. We are grateful to everyone that is able to donate.
Financial giving during the holiday
Financial gifts during the holiday are always greatly appreciated and helpful. During the holiday that State College Food Bank provides the fixings for a Thanksgiving meal to all of our clients, the other County Pantries for their clients, and hosts a drive-through distribution for anyone in the county, regardless of income. We also provide extra food during the month of December to help families during the holiday time. Financial gifts make all of this possible. You can give a tax deductible donation HERE or mail a check to 1321 South Atherton Street, State College, PA 16801.
Volunteering during the holidays
We do not have additional holiday specific volunteer needs. However anyone interested in volunteering may complete an application and email a copy to volunteer@scfoodbank.org.
Distributions SCFB Thanksgiving and Holiday Distributions
The Food Bank provides two holiday distributions in addition to the regular monthly food distributions in November and December. Special holiday distributions are given to clients during regular grocery distribution hours. Items included in holiday distributions may vary.

SCASD Drive Through Thanksgiving Event The State College Food Bank, the State College Area School District (SCASD), and the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank want to ensure that Centre County families have the food that they need for a great Thanksgiving meal. We will be distributing turkeys and groceries for a Thanksgiving feast on Tuesday, November 16 between 4:30 and 6:00pm.
The Thanksgiving distribution that is being coordinated by SCASD is for individuals and families in Centre County who are not typically clients of the State College Food Bank but could use a little extra help this holiday.
